  • Clinical Trials
    6/9/25
Clinical trials at the University at Buffalo are critical as part of our commitment to the community because they improve access to advanced medical treatments, often years before they become widely available. Participation in trials can frequently lead to better health outcomes.

School of Social Work researchers collaborate across disciplines to examine critical questions facing society. From helping organizations understand the effects of trauma to sustaining the dignity of immigrants and refugees, our institutes translate academic research into real-world solutions — and make a positive impact on our community.

Students and faculty of the Jacobs School participate in a wide variety of outreach efforts in the community, including community education, clinical services, and workforce training.
