Y2K 2000’s Trivia:
Wassup?! All of you Millenials! This trivia is for you. So grab your peeps and challenge them to a trivia celebrating this millennium. From velour track suits to flash mobs, challenge your colleagues to see who knows more about the 2000s!
We are pleased to welcome Susan Steck, UB retiree, avid gardener and long time member of the Smallwood garden club, as she covers planning for 3 seasons of bloom in your garden, and the reasons for designing your garden this way. We’ll talk about some of the benefits (support of pollinators, birds and wildlife) of having continuous bloom in your garden and the plants that would work well for each season, including bushes, perennials and annuals. We’ll also highlight native plants that can work in your garden to attract and support pollinators.
Uncover your natural talents using the StrengthsFinder 2.0 assessment and personal reflection exercises. This workshop will help you to maximize your strengths and minimize your weaknesses, as well as learn to capitalize on others’ strengths to work more effectively with your team. You will learn strategies to turn your talents into an asset for your career and in your life.
