Three campuses, unlimited possibilities.

UB is a top 40 university in a top city in which to attend college, and with more than 1,346 acres across three unique campuses, there is always something new to explore. Regular shuttle service takes students between North Campus and South Campus, and the Downtown Campus is easily accessible by Metro Rail. Learn more about our campuses:

North Campus

UB's bustling North Campus, the site of most of the university's core academic programs, covers more than 1,170 acres and includes 11 residence halls, five apartment complexes, the UB Stadium and more. North Campus is located in Amherst, N.Y., which is consistently ranked one of the safest cities in the nation.

South Campus

The picturesque South Campus, located three miles from North Campus in a residential section of Buffalo, was the university's first home. Here, ivy-covered buildings and a historic bell tower complement new research and teaching facilities.

Downtown Campus

Home of the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, UB’s Downtown Campus aligns medicine, research and clinical care with local hospitals and research partners—right in the heart of the city's medical corridor.
