Some 6,435 students are candidates to receive 6,905 degrees and certificates during UB’s 2025 commencement ceremonies being held Friday through May 18.
Commencement season begins Friday with the ceremony for students graduating from the MD program in the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and from the School of Dental Medicine.
The Jacobs School’s ceremony, its 179th annual commencement ceremony, will take place at 1 p.m. in the Center for the Arts. Jeremy M. Jacobs Sr., chair emeritus of the UB Council, will receive the Charles M. Norton Medal, UB’s highest honor, during the ceremony.
The School of Dental Medicine’s commencement ceremony will take place at 5 p.m. in the Center for the Arts.
