  • The Buffalo News reported on Yubie, the robotic dog the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences recently acquired as a learning and research platform that will enable faculty and students to explore new frontiers in robotics, autonomous vehicles, computer science, artificial intelligence and other fields.
  • All fun aside, the new gizmo has serious research implications for AI, computer science and more.

  • Meet Spot, UB’s newest gadget. The robot dog, made by Boston Dynamics, arrived on campus earlier this summer.
  • The Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science held IAD Days (formally CDSE Days) April 26 -28, 2022 following a two-year hiatus. The event attracted over 200 participants including students, faculty, and community researchers.
