About Phyllis Floro
Phyllis Floro, EdM '05, BA '02, is a proud alumna of UB. She holds a B.A. in Communication and a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration. Phyllis began her academic journey at Niagara County Community College, earning her Associate’s degree before transferring to UB. Originally from Niagara Falls, she started her professional career at the University at Buffalo in 1999 and has since held various roles within Student Affairs, all focused on supporting and engaging students. She currently serves as the Director of Student Engagement, where she leads initiatives that foster involvement, leadership, and a strong sense of community among students.
